For PUBG and Counter-Strike 2 on Windows
Every match recorded. Every kill marked.
Hexline starts recording when your game starts, bookmarks your kills on the timeline, and saves a clip when you press Alt+F8 or say “Hexline”.
Free. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. FFmpeg included.
Built to stay out of the way while you play.
You set it up once. After that there is nothing to start, stop or remember.
Starts when your game does
Hexline notices the game process and applies that game’s settings. It records only the game window, on the GPU, so other windows and notifications never end up in your footage.
Clip it with a key or your voice
A replay buffer keeps the last stretch of play on disk. Save it with the hotkey, or say “Hexline”. Speech is recognised offline, so nothing you say leaves your PC.
Kills land on the timeline
In CS2, kills, headshots, assists and deaths are bookmarked live. Download the demo afterwards and they gain details like wallbangs and no-scopes. In PUBG, they arrive right after the match.

Clips and recordings upload to the channel you choose. If a file is over the server’s limit, Hexline compresses it or splits it into parts. The file on your PC is always kept.

It never touches the game.
Hexline only uses data the games publish for tools like this. Apart from that, it does nothing a screen recorder wouldn’t.

Download Hexline
One zip with Hexline.exe and FFmpeg. Unzip it anywhere and open Hexline.exe. There’s no installer, and .NET doesn’t need to be installed.
- Requirements
- Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. A GPU with NVENC, Quick Sync or AMF is used when present, otherwise Hexline encodes on the CPU.
- If Windows warns you
- Hexline isn’t code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say it doesn’t recognise the app. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Where your files go
- Recordings go to the folder you pick. Settings live in %APPDATA%\Hexline.
